The Residence Hall Association (RHA) serves as the student government of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln residence halls and consists of a 10-student executive board, 2 advisors, 7 local councils, and numerous senators representing each residence hall across the UNL campus.
Local councils are primarily programmatic organizations focused on providing events and building communities within their respective halls or complex. They also act as a voice for residents and work with RHA to advocate on larger issues or changes.
Every fall, RHA hosts online elections to fill positions in RHA and local councils. If you are interested in running for a position, please read below for more information about positions, how to apply, qualifications, and timeline. If you have any questions, please contact the RHA at rha@unl.edu or the RHA Advisor & Election Commissioner at jwsherry@unl.edu.
