Attending Conferences with RHA & NRHH
RHA & NRHH are both affiliated with regional (MACURH) and international (NACURH) organizations related to leadership within the residence halls. Each year, UNL typically sends a delegation of student leaders to represent UNL to learn more about various events and initiatives taking place across the world and to act as voting representatives for our campus residence hall organizations in large boardroom settings. Our campus liaisons review anything from awards, large organization budget models, conference and board of director bids, to legislation impacting institutions affiliated with the organization and beyond.
Experience NACURH Apply to Attend a Conference
- MACURH Regional Leadership Conference (RLC): Hosted by Iowa State University from October 25, 2024 to October 27, 2024, this conference runs for 3 days filled with exciting events, numerous opportunities to network with other student leaders across the midwest, and awards for on-campus efforts of exceptional student leaders within the region. Any student interested in developing their leadership is able to join!
- MACURH Regional Business Conference (RBC): Hosted by University of Nebraska-Kearney, dates TBD, the conference runs 3-4 days and focuses on official business for the region. Typically UNL sends a small delegation designated of our official liaisons like the RHA President, NRHH Representative, & NCC.
- NACURH Annual Conference: Hosted by Illinois State University for NACURH 2025 is typically in the summer at the end of May or beginning of June, the annual conference hosts hundreds of institutions from all over the world over a period of 3-4 days. Lots of great entertainment, planned outings, opportunities to network with other student leaders across the world, and exceptional leadership development opportunities for those who attend. Any student interested in developing their leadership is able to join!
