Bill Submission Deadline: Every Thursday at 4PM

IMPORTANT: RHA does require bills to be sent to the Senate for review, one week before approval. This requires all bill submissions to be submitted two weeks in advance. 

  • I.E. A bill is submitted by Thursday at 4PM on Week 1, the bill is first shared with the Senate on Tuesday of Week 2 for review and then discussed and voted on during the Tuesday meeting of Week 3.

Acknowledgements and File Upload
I understand that the Residence Hall Association has no obligation to provide funding, even if it has been granted in the past. Required

I understand that all financial matters must be taken up with the RHA Chief of Operations and a summary of the event must be submitted to the RHA email within two weeks of the event including attendance, budget used, and a summary of the event. Required
I understand that if approved for funding, we must submit bills including tax for payment directly to RHA OR pay all bills through our organization and submit receipts of expenses to the RHA Chief of Operations for a reimbursement to an individual or org. Required
I understand that the bill will be heard at an RHA meeting, which is held at 7pm on Tuesday Nights. The RHA Chief of Operations or Vice President will reach out with the date and location of the meeting. Myself or a representative will be present. Required
I used the bill/budget templates which were found at the top of this page. If I did not use that, I was sure to download it and submit the bill in proper format. I understand the official template must be used for the bill to be accepted. Required
