
It’s time to put your hall’s strengths to the ultimate test! Join RHA in its inaugural Battle of the Halls competition event taking place from March 29th-April 1st. Battle your way to the top in four unique events to prove which hall is the best. The winners will earn a custom plaque displaying their commendable victory.

Trivia Night
March 29th | 6:30PM-8:30PM | Red Cloud - Willa Cather Dinning Complex
Ready for a fun-filled night of trivia and games? Create a team of 6 players from your hall to put your knowledge to the test in 7 unique trivia categories. Earn points for your Hall Government by simply attending! The top three teams will earn themselves a prize!

Food Truck Feast
March 30th | 4:30PM-6:30PM | 17th St Green Space (By Willa Cather Dinning Complex)
Who doesn’t love to grab a delicious meal from a food truck? Outside of Cather Dining Center, RHA & UNL Dining have teamed up to bring you 5 amazing food trucks. Those with and without a meal plan are invited to attend! Meal swipes/dining dollars/credit cards will all be acceptable forms of payment. Supplies are limited so plan to come early. Points will be attendance-based, you won’t want to miss out!

Dodgeball Tournament
March 31st | 6:30PM-9:00PM | Coliseum Courts - City Campus Rec
What’s better and an old-fashioned dodgeball tournament to prove who’s the best? Time to put your skills to the test at the Coliseum Courts in the Campus Recreation Center. Form your team of 10 consisting of players from the same hall or a group of friends. Only those with a “hall” team will earn points for the overall competition, others will compete in an at-large bracket. Points will be determined by final standings in the brackets.

Participation Points
- Your individual hall can earn points that will go towards your hall government’s overall score. Here are the Hall Governments:
- Abel Local Council
- HSSV Local Council (Harper, Schramm, Smith, and the Village)
- Kauffman Resident's Association and Selleck Quadrangle Council
- Love Memorial Hall Cooperative and Massengale Senate
- Suites-Courtyards Complex Council (Eastide Suites, Knoll, University Suites, and Courtyards)
- So, you can organize a specific hall team or organize a hall government team. Based on the event the number of teams may be limited (at least 1 per hall government), so registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

- Standing-based points (1st, 2nd, 3rd, place will earn higher scores)
- Food Trucks
- Participation Points; Simply attend and drop a ticket into your assigned Hall Government bucket (which will be stationed at the event)

Frequently Asked Questions
Will water/food be available?
Light refreshments will be available at Trivia Night and the Dodgeball Tournament.
Can I bring my own water?
You are encouraged to bring your own water, however, beverages will NOT be allowed into the Swanson Auditorium for the Comedy Show.
Are there additional prizes?
You bet! Trivia Night, Dodgeball Tournament, and the Comedy Show will all have additional prizes.
Can I just register myself for a team event?
Unfortunately, you will need a team to sign-up with for Trivia Night or Dodgeball.
Do I have to compete in all of the events?
No, it is up to you which events you would like to participate in.
How do I make sure my attendance is tracked and earn points?
For Trivia Night and Dodgeball make sure you register your team, or you might be turned away at the door. For Food Trucks and the Comedy Show make sure you place a color-coded ticket into your Hall Government bucket. There will be a table with RHA members at these events, so look out for us!
