RHA Committees

Advertising and Marketing Committee:
The advertising and marketing chair is a committee appointed to help out the other committees get the word out about RHA sponsored events or any campus wide event. Our main goal this year is to get out what RHA is and what we do so that we can better help those living in our community.

Residential Enhancement Committee:
Residential Enhancement is a standing committee of RHA devoted to the betterment of facilities, services, and atmosphere of all residence halls so as to improve the quality of living for the residents living in University residence halls. Also, it is charged with the maintenance of the RHA website.

Review and Recommendations Committee:
It is the mission of this committee to review all legislation before the general meeting and to form an opinion that will be presented to the general assembly as our committee's recommendation. The chairperson of this committee serves as the Speaker of the Senate.

Social Committee:
The Social Committee is here to organize fun, exciting, and entertaining things for residents to do. These events are also provided to teach cultural awareness through fun activities, as well as letting people socialize, and get to know new and interesting people. Past events include Thumb Wars and Sun Valley Lanes Free Bowling Night

Student Action Team:
The Student Action Team (SAT) is in charge of planning educational, socially relevant and/or cultural programs that RHA wishes to present. One of the major programs is the Angel Tree Project each December. This program annually gathers over 500 gifts for underprivileged children in the community. Other programs have included a Suicide Prevention awareness program, a walk-a-thon for Children's Hospital, and participation in the Relay for Life for Cancer research.
